What will I learn?
Did you know that being able to read a map or use a compass properly might save your life? Modern technology can be really good in terms of helping you navigate, but if your GPS does not function because you are in a valley, in bad weather or have a flat battery, it can be vital that you know how to read a map and use a compass. If you are planning to or are currently undertaking Duke of Edinburgh awards, this course is ideal for practicing your skills.
