Summer School Etching
What will I learn?
Ideal for beginners to those with some experience, this course uses zinc plates to explore a variety of mark-making and texture generating techniques. Progress from dry-point to using copper-sulphate acid with resists, grounds, and experimental techniques. Environmentally friendly alternatives as well as traditional processes will allow for aquatint effects with results on a variety of paper surfaces. Non-demo materials can be purchased from Plaza Art Supplies.
