Our BA Illustration course will provide you with a foundation to build your professional career as an Illustrator or in a related industry. It will provide you with a thorough grounding in key concepts and practical skills and encourage you to adopt a creative approach throughout the three years. Once you graduate you will be equipped with a set of skills and personal qualities that will help you stand out in the professional world.
You will have the opportunity to be individual, innovative and questioning. The course has breadth, embracing a wide range of approaches and media, working in a range of contexts such as editorial, illustration, or sequential narrative.

What could I progress on to?
Once you have graduated from the course you could launch yourself into the industry as a freelance illustrator, gallery curator, illustrate childrens books, train to become a teacher, gain experience as an art technician or study for a Masters degree.
Past students have undertaken work placements at Coley Porter Bell an organised Alternative Fashion, an illustration event using paper clothing.
