The Level 3 CIPD Diploma in Human Resource Practice (QCF) reflects a wide range of relevant practical skills in human resources and learning and development practice. This Foundation Diploma provides the underpinning knowledge for CIPD Associate professional membership for individuals who: are aspiring to, or embarking on, a career in HR/L&D are working in the field of HR/L&D in a support role and wish to develop their knowledge and skills, have responsibility for HR/L&D activities and decisions within an organisation.
The course is delivered over nine months on a part time basis two evenings a week; 6 9 pm. The syllabus is generalist covering key areas of HRP including professional development, recruitment and selection, performance management, mentoring and coaching and employment law. It lays a very solid foundation for generalist HR knowledge and skill development and can be a door opener to a career in HRM and to the CIPD level 5 (intermediate), which really is for practitioners working in the field.
Successful completion of the course gives you: An industry recognised professional qualification (CIPD Foundation Level Diploma in Human Resources Practice (DHRP)) which proves to employers your commitment to continuing professional development in your specialist field.
Continued study opportunities onto higher levels of the CIPD qualifications (Intermediate Level 5 and Advanced Level 7). Associate membership of the CIPD (a professional badge of competence that signals to employers your ability to apply your knowledge in a business context).
