HNC / HND Computing and System Development
What will I learn?
The HNC and HND Computing and Systems Development course is designed to help you develop your skills in front and back-end design technologies.
The course delivers key knowledge on e-commerce related systems and the business related skills you will need to work within the IT industry, taking into account the computer and network infrastructure on which the developed systems are installed. There is a strong element of design and creativity within the course modules.
During the course you will study a range of topics including:

What could I progress on to?
On successful completion of the HND Diploma you can move onto the BSc (Hons) Computing and Systems Development (Top Up) to complete the full degree. You may wish to start your career and could move into IT roles in large companies, become an IT technician, or start your own IT consultancy on a self-employed basis.
Previous computing graduates have gone on to work as an IT consultant for international bank Merrill Lynch, a Technician for BBC News and Self-employed as a web designer.
