What will I learn?
Our HND Electrical and Electronic Engineering course is a two year full-time qualification that will give you a broad understanding of electrical and electronic principles. This course is perfect if are looking to continue your education at a higher level, with the aim of employment afterwards.
The first year is delivered alongside the Mechanical and Manufacturing course, where our expert tutors will provide you with strong, sector-related content and an emphasis on practical skills to help you expand your existing knowledge of engineering. You will focus on mathematics, modern design, and electrical techniques, as well as mechanical principles to give you a broad understanding of all industrial needs.
Specialisms will take place in the second year where you will have the opportunity to hone your skills in electrical disciplines. By the end of the course you will have developed a good mix of practical and employability skills to further your career or progress onto a top-up degree.
