What will I learn?

If you are thinking of becoming an MoT tester but don’t have a suitable level 3 qualification this ATA Assessment Light Vehicle Inspection qualification is accepted as proof of competence along with at least 4 years trade experience. The ATA Light Vehicle Inspection route is also ideal for technicians whose job role involves the inspection, maintenance and repair of light vehicles. IMI ATA light vehicle inspection

This is an assessment only course and to become an accredited ATA Light Vehicle Inspection Technician, candidates must pass a series of practical assessments and an on line knowledge test.

You will be assessed through timed practical assessments and an online exam.

Steel toe cap safety boots and overalls are required for the workshop environment.
