Level 1 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance
This course will interest you if you are practical and are interested in cars and learning how to maintain them professionally. By the end of the course you will have an overview and some skill in the maintenance procedures of a wide range of vehicles and a good knowledge of health and safety for the industry.
Who should take this course?
This one-year diploma is designed to engage and motivate 16-19 year olds who have an interest in understanding and developing their knowledge in maintaining motor vehicles. You will gain essential knowledge for mechanics and cover the basic technical requirements for the light vehicle repair and maintenance industry. You will also have some awareness of the diverse aspects within the modern retail motor industry. This course develops English, maths, IT and work skills essential for working in the motor industry.

Successful interview and GCSEs E-F in English and maths.

50% practical, 25% coursework and 25% exams.
